Reciprocal Links.

Friday, May 4th, 2007

Reciprocal links are when two or more sites make links to each other. That way you bring traffic to each other’s sites. It’s a good idea to link with sites that have similar interests because other people will be visiting both sites and most likely will be looking for the same group of products.

Sometimes one site doesn’t do his part of the reciprocal link and just wants to get free traffic from you. It’s best to inspect the websites in the reciprocal link every month or so. If you find one that you are linking to but they aren’t linking back or you can’t find your ad easily then remove the link to their site from yours.

Sometimes websites just use you to get traffic, then when they have tons of customers they remove you from the reciprocal link. They just use you to get to the top and then if they see you have a popular idea that attracts lots of people they may use something similar and steal all your customers. They will cancel the link to your site and hope that you keep theirs so they still get your customers.

Buying Online.

Friday, May 4th, 2007

When buying items online make sure that they have quality and if you want to resell them, that they are in demand. You aren’t going to make much money if you sell a bad product. People want to buy things that last a long time. If you sell good quality things then word of mouth advertising might help you bring more people. If you sell poor quality things then the opposite might happen. Also make sure where you are buying from is a reliable source.

If you are buying on ebay then watch out for scammers. When reselling the item then make sure you sell it at an affordable price but make sure you are gaining some profit. If you aren’t gaining any profit then why are you doing this?

It’s a good idea not to put all your life savings into one product until you know it works. Otherwise you will have lost a lot of money and have to find a way to earn it all back. Put a small percentage of your cash into something and see if it works. If it does then you can put in some more. If you are gaining enough profit then you can take some of the money for personal use and put the rest of the profit back and make the business bigger so you might have a bigger profit next month.

Offering Services.

Sometimes you can offer your services to other people to make cash. Here are a few ideas.

Graphic designer is a good way to start. You can make graphics for other people’s websites. If people see your work and like it they might hire you to design website graphics for them. This can take some time depending on what the customer wants. You can charge per hour. You have to make sure the price is reasonable depending on your talent. Sometimes people pay forty bucks per hour.

Also if you are skilled at html you can charge cash for making a website for someone. When offering services you have to make sure you are talented enough to make sure people will want you and make sure you charge a fair price that people can afford.

Three Different Ways To Sell Online.

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

There are many different ways to sell online. I am going to cover three of them below.

One way to sell is to act as a supplier. You can sell items to someone for a certain price and they will sell it for a higher price. This is a quick way to make cash but you don’t get the full amount of cash as you would if you had sold it yourself.

Another way to sell online is to sell on ebay. On ebay you can buy or sell items for a good price, but there may be a lot of scammers on ebay plus tons of competition.

The third way to sell stuff online is to make your own website. Sites cost ten dollars a month to host and fifteen dollars a year to rent a name. You have to make sure you are making enough to support the site and gain profit. Just like on ebay there is competition. When selling items you have to make sure the item is in demand, has value and that your product stands out above the rest.
